Nandamuri-Balakrishna

Telangana government has announced exemption from entertainment tax for the film Gautamiputra Sathakarni, the 100th film of actor N Balakrishna. Responding to a request by Balakrishna who had called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan to invite him for the premier show, the Chief Minister said the Telangana government would support and encourage films based on noted historical personalities.

He was received by the TDP floor leader A Revanth Reddy, MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and party senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy. Balakrishna spent a few minutes in the TDLP office. He wanted to invite the Chief Minister for the movie but since he had already left for his camp office, he met Minister T Srinivas Yadav. Yadav accompanied Balakrishna to CM’s camp office.
